Students and Staff Return to Elm Drive

Students and staff returned to Elm Drive on Wednesday, January 2, 2019. Students found a stuffed teddy bear sitting on their desk as a welcome back gift from Belfor, our property restoration contractors.

The Board of Education and administration hosted an Open House at Elm Drive on Thursday, January 3, 2019 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. We had a great turnout at the Open House. Millbrook Board of Education President Perry Hartswick cut a ribbon at 5:00 pm to signifying the return of students and staff to Elm Drive. The Board of Education and administration extends a sincere and heartfelt thank you to all Millbrook students, staff, parents, guardians and community for their support!

Student Artwork Selected to Receive Scholastic Art Awards

This year 14 students had their artwork selected to receive Scholastic Art Awards. This year we doubled the number of Gold & Silver Key winners than we had in 2018!  The Scholastic Art Awards is a visual arts competition open to students in grades 7-12 and is designed to identify students with exceptional artistic talent.  The Scholastic Art Awards is a National program that gives out National Awards and Scholarships, as well as Regional Awards.  The Gold and Silver Key winners will be recognized at an awards ceremony at SUNY New Paltz on Friday, February 8th at 7pm. Their work will be on display in the Fine Art Building Rotunda from February 8, 2019 through March 1, 2019.  We congratulate all of the winners!
