Do you want a place where you can exercise, hang out with friends, and have fun! Then come to intramurals! Every Thursday after school Mr. Carbone runs intramurals from about 2:20 - 3:05. In warm weather, we may play games outside like dodgeball, capture the flag, etc. While in cold weather, we might play games in the gym (if not being used), or go to the heart lab. Everyone in grades 6-8 is welcome, and we encourage everyone to be a part of this great opportunity!

Junior Interact

Jr. Interact is a community service based club.  We host different fundraisers throughout the year to help local families, communities, and organizations.  Some of our events include the Thanksgiving Day food drive, Pink Out for Cancer Awareness, Adopt a family during the Holidays, and the end of the year Summer Blast which supports the SPCA.  All middle school students are welcome to join!

Library Media Club

Library Media Club provides a dedicated space for students to discover and learn how technology can be used to help us enjoy books. We meet on the SECOND and FOURTH Thursday of each month right after school in the library. Students can take the late bus home. Activities will include the use of the media room to film book talks and create "live" book reviews, MakerSpace project activities centered around favorite books and authors, and several other technology-based literary activities. Students are encouraged to attend on a "drop-in" basis and are not required to attend all meetings in order to participate. Library Media Club runs all year and is open to students in grades 6-8.

Student Government

Student Government is an opportunity for students to have a “voice” in the planning/running of Middle School activities including trips, social events, fundraising, rules, etc…

The club is active all year, with one to two meetings a month depending upon level of involvement.

Anyone can be in Student Government; however officers are elected by students.

There are no forms to fill out. To run for an office (Pres., VP, Sec. Treasurer or a Senator for each grade) students must be nominated, campaign, and present their platform at an assembly. To be a Rep. one must get elected in Social Studies class.

Officers will meet the 1 st Wed. of every month, and the General Assembly is the 3rd Wednesday of each month.

Student Government impacts all levels of our school environment. In the past we helped with trips, had a voice in rule making/changing, fundraised,

purchased basketball backstops, nets & balls, held a dance, and more...

Students will have direct input into how our school operates as well as gaining insight into the political process.
