Alden Students Raise Money For The American Red Cross

Recently, Mrs. Robinson/Loparco's class read an article in Time For Kids about Hurricane Matthew. The article provided details about the hurricane and its impact on communities. The article also discussed ways people are helping. The students decided to start collecting bottles to raise money to send to the American Red Cross, one of the organizations listed in the article. A few students decorated boxes to gather the bottle collections. A big thank you to Jason Osborn who collected over 100 bottles from his family's pumpkin farm to start our collection.
